The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed that Adam Driver and Chris Pratt are set to reprise their roles as the titular characters from the original trilogy in “Star Wars: Episode VIII — The Last Jedi.”

The news comes as Disney announced last month that Driver and Pratt would be returning to the franchise, which will also see Daisy Ridley (Jyn Erso) and Finn Jones (Yoda) take on new roles.

The news is good news for fans who’ve been waiting for the film to arrive in theaters.

“Wicked” stars Chris Hemsworth and Zendaya are set for an epic, epic battle in “The Last Jedi,” which will be released on December 15.

“Star Trek Into Darkness” stars Zachary Quinto and Zachary Walker as Captain Kirk and Spock, respectively.

“The End” and “Rogue One” stars Felicity Jones, Michael Rooker and Benedict Cumberbatch are also expected to be returning.

In the original Star Wars trilogy, Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher play the titulans Darth Vader and the Emperor respectively.

The pair have two of the most iconic, iconic moments in film history: Anakin Skywalker’s death and the Battle of Endor.

Both movies were directed by John Williams.

“Rogue one” is set for release December 16.
