Traveller star Chris Stapel is the subject of a new documentary coming to the screen in March.

Traveller is a documentary series from Channel 4 exploring Stap’s career and life.

Stapleton is the author of three novels including ‘The Devil in the Dark’, and a series of short stories.

He has also written for the BBC, on television, radio and theatre.

In recent years he has become a prolific writer and has written many more novels.

A documentary about his life will be screened on Channel 4 in March, and is expected to be a commercial success.

The series of programmes, which will be shown on channel 4, follows Stapler as he travels across the world in search of adventure, and explores the legacy of his life and career.

Stampleton, who is a British-born writer, travelled to Mexico in the late 1950s and spent time in Chile, Costa Rica and Panama.

He was one of the first people to use a typewriter and he wrote the first of his many novels.

He died in 2003 at the age of 82.

A BBC spokesman said: “It’s a great honour to have Chris Staperon as part of our journey across the globe.

He is a truly inspiring person and a fantastic broadcaster and I’m sure Channel 4 will capture his stories for generations to come.”
